Together with John Howitt, a session musician and professional teacher with a track record stretching from working regularly for the BBC, to Anastasia, Celine Dion and Shirley Bassey, we offer a series of engaging events on how to get the best out of creative people by reference to these and other members of rock and pop's monarchy.
We also offer an audience with John Leckie - a prolific producer who has worked with just about everyone in rock's history, from The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Be-Bop Deluxe, Simple Minds, The Stone Roses to Muse. John offers insights into how to manage creative people with large egos with relevant lessons for people trying to lead highly innovative people in their company.
If you wish to have a music celebrity at your event, we can access a range of names, old and new, on request. Some offer engaging talks as well as performances of their classics. In other cases we offer a 'question time' format where we interview them about specific aspects of their lives e.g. how to be continuously creative, how to reinvent your career, dealing with fame and so on.
Blowin' the Blues away - Motivation through 'misery'
We offer an amazing motivational double act with 'Les Miserable' - blues master and champion raconteur. Together we offer an educational and satirical pre-dinner or after dinner speech, punctuated with virtuoso performances of a wide range of blues and jazz music, new and old. Garde Music Masterclasses
We have available a diverse range of musicians, from a piano virtuosos who can play piano recitals whilst reading the Financial Times, to bizarre combinations of experimental instrumentalists who use 1930's synthesisers and all out rockers. Live instruments, musical saws, computer-based creation - whatever takes your fancy. Check this version of Bohemian Rhapsody out, played by our associate multi instrumentalist Sam Laming on a Ukelele!
We used a virtuoso guitar player to demonstrate his skill at an event for schools. Watch him play 'Flight of the Bumblebee in the style of Yngwie Malmsteen' Some of you might find yourself saying 'Too many notes, Mr Mozart', but it is an impressive display of technique! We've also recorded some traditional classical pieces with non- traditional instruments. Listen to Air on a G String performed with an electric guitar made to sound like a violin here. We also have access to a range of people who can give music lessons on request.
Sessions range from: classical music demonstrations, jazz ensemble, rock, pop and blues. These can include participation from the audience if desired. We use session musicians with pedigrees that include performances with Celine Dion, Anastasia, Altered Images, The Fall, Wilko Johnson, John Otway, Splodgnessabounds, Classix Nouveaux, Kissing the Pink, Van Morrisson, Meatloaf, Cyndi Lauper, Prince and Oasis amongst others.
We offer great singing workshops, using trained opera and jazz singers. Although the workshops are about singing, you achieve much more in terms of developing confidence, learning how to use your voice for more conventional activities e.g. presenting and realising stretch goals.

- Corporate jamming sessions
Fully participative corporate jamming sessions, often used in combination with a pre-dinner keynote, so that people can learn improvisation and creativity first hand, guided by experienced music coaches. We have delivered such sessions to The United Nations, Unilever, Pfizer, the Chartered Insurance Institute, The Chartered Management Institute, Allianz, GlaxoSmithKline and the National Health Service amongst others.
We work in partnership with Rachel Taylor, a qualified opera singer, specialising in the traditional Bel Canto technique and vocal coach. As part of a corporate event, Rachel can just sing pieces such as Bizet’s ‘Carmen’, Puccini’s ‘Tosca’ and ‘Madame Butterfly’, Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’, Purcell’s ‘Dido and Aeneas’. Alongside this, she talks eloquently about the art of using your voice and self presentation. We also offer insights into the storytelling tradition that accompanies opera and their links to corporate life: fate; persuasion and influence, inevitable death by murder or sickness and so on. Music truly is the language of the emotions! Do you recognise these people at work: The innocent soprano; The vampish mezzo; The heroic tenor and; The bad-guy baritone or bass?
