We took a bunch of 10 year olds to help them learn their maths and literacy strategies for exams using rock music. In just one hour they wrote 3 rock classics designed to help them integrate their learning in an unforgettable way. The Headmistress reported that the event contributed to their success in excelling at their exams and we were asked to repeat it. It was also covered on TV by BBC Breakfast News. Read the Headmistress' view and our article for Sir Richard Branson on disrupting education.
We were asked to provide keynote inputs to a staff development day for 300 teachers. The
goal was to apply multiple intelligences in the classroom, to reach more of the kids, more of the time. In just 30 minutes the whole audience rewrote the teaching anthem ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ and performed it on stage in a
school hall at 9 am in the morning, after only tea and biscuits. No need for sex, drugs, not even two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, just pure Rock’n’Roll.

Interview with the BBC's razor sharp Peter Curran, where we were asked to explain what teachers might learn from sex, drugs and Rock'n'Roll in generating a classroom climate where kids bring their minds, bodies and souls to school.
